I was a bit skeptical about ordering these but after reading the reviews and looking at the cost I decided to give them a try . I really needed a bag to put my king size comforters in and they are really big enough. When I received them I was surprised to see that they are well made, not thin but thick enough. The ones I have are opaque. They are very easy to use; The manufacturer put a plug on the vacuum hole. You simply unscrew it and use a hand pump or vacuum hose to remove the air. They also closed the top but left about 8 inches open so you can easily open the pouch rather than trying to break the two seals. Then just put the bedding etc in the bag, connect the vacuum hose and start pulling air out. It took about 30 seconds to pump all the air out of a king-size bed bag. I have problems with my right hand so I used a vacuum and didn't try a hand pump, but I might use it in an emergency. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. Whether it will last 6 to 8 months remains to be seen. I can recommend these storage bags.
