Review on Enhanced Logitech G13 Programmable Gameboard featuring LCD Display by Stanislaw Lambach ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

In general, the keyboard is the best on the market for gamers. It is compact on the table, comfortable and ergonomic. Now one burned down (poured coffee and several keys died) and temporarily returned the Logitech G110 keyboard (full-size). Lots of inconvenience. Firstly, it’s cumbersome, secondly, the keys are far away (for example, I already know that the inventory is always there on the i key), thirdly, when you play late at night, there’s nowhere to look at the time and you have to reach for your mobile phone, fourthly, after the ergonomic shape of the G13, I It's hard to play on the G110 for a long time, and after 20 - 30 minutes the hand already hurts. Now I can’t even imagine how I used to play on regular keyboards. In general, I will go again to buy G13. Now I'm without her, as without hands. Definitely worth your money. Who doubts - definitely advise all the same to buy and try. At first, it's a little unusual, since the keys are not staggered, as on ordinary keyboards, but in an even cell, and this makes it seem that the keyboard is "not correct". But then, try to play the classical clave and everything will fall into place))

Pros
  • The ergonomics are great. The keys are enough to set up a menu for almost any game. The WASD keys are recessed so that you can feel them without looking at the keyboard. All keys are backlit and you can choose the color of the backlight in the drivers for every taste. The presence of a mini joystick is very pleasing (I have it configured to switch weapons in shooters). The screen is informative and helpful. On it you can see how game characteristics (health, ammo, armor, etc.), you can watch the processor and memory load in real time, or you can just turn on the clock and play at night with the lights off, seeing what time it is. It is also possible to receive on the screen all sorts of notifications about news, new mail and other garbage. In general, I found this screen extremely useful. And to whom it interferes, it is easily and simply turned off by pressing a key on the clave itself without leaving your favorite toy. Excellent weight. It sits like glue on the table.
Cons
  • I really didn't like the moronic system of profiles. Without special drivers and Logitech gaming software, the keyboard turns into a brick and even the standard input device is not detected in the system. The memory in the keyboard is for storing profiles only. The keyboard cannot start autonomously with them, but serves only as a "flash drive" for transferring from computer to computer with pre-installed software for it. Could it really be possible to do completely autonomous work like A4Tech, when the firmware stored in memory work autonomously on any computer without any drivers at all? Minus 1 point for that.
