Like Them So Far - my new review

I ordered two of these initially to put one in the little one's room as well as the master bedroom, however, upon opening them I realized they were a bit smaller than I imagined. The manual states that it works best in a 10 by 12 room (I assumed feet even though there were no markings present to indicate the appropriate unit of measurement). Anywho. Since the little one's room is approximately that size, I decided to just go ahead and place both in that room and will purchase a larger one for the master. I put eucalyptus essential oil in one and orange essential oil in the other. So far they both work great even though I think one is putting out a little bit more steam/mist than the other. They are easy to take a part to fill and easy to put back on. There are approximately 8 or 9 colors that are cycled through and each one has a dim or bright setting. There is indeed a separate button for the light and mist so you can use the mist without the light or light without the mist. If you only press the 'light' button once, all colors will be cycled through at I think 5 or 10 second intervals (I couldn't really tell and was not counting) but it is enough time to actually enjoy a color for a moment before it moves on. If you press the "light" button again, you can cycle through all the colors until you get to the one that you desire it to be on. Once you get to the last color, which is white, it will turn the light back off. You can turn the lights off by cycling through them all or just by holding the button for about 3 seconds or so. The mist only has two settings which are to mist at about 30 second intervals or to have a continuous mist. The manual is pretty good at explaining the basics so I will stop there with the details. As far as the mist/steam intensity is concerned, I think it outputs a decent amount. However, I am not sure how great my opinion is since this is my first purchase of a humidifier/diffuser. I was able to smell both of the essential oils I used, although, due to how fast my drops fell out I ended up having about 1 or 2 drops over the recommended amount in the manual. They worked very well throughout the first night and they do indeed auto-shutoff when the water has run out. They are very quiet as well so my little one was not disturbed at having them in the room. Also, the light that shows when the unit is on is not very bright so for anyone concerned about that if you turn the other light off, I did not think it was bad. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase at this time and would recommend this product for a small space.
