Great value but not quiet

Overall a great fan for the price. It moves a lot of air. However, don't expect it to be quiet. I measured it at around 70dB while standing about 10 feet away. It's about as loud as your average vacuum cleaner. It's too loud for me to see anything with sound on my laptop from about 20 feet away. On the other hand, no outside noise can be heard while this bad boy is running.
