I bought this Chromebook after my 4 year old Toshiba Chromebook 2 finally started having problems. In 2015, I paid almost the same price for Toshiba as for Lenovo. I was hoping to find a car of the same quality and I was wrong. Here are the main issues with Lenovo's screen quality. Screen - I have no idea what Lenovo thought of this screen. You have to have the perfect angle to see anything, and even if you find that angle, it still looks like junk. Colors are always washed out, black text on a white background almost looks gray. That's embarrassing for an LCD made in the last 10 years. Speakers - I listen to a lot of videos and music on my Chromebook. My old Toshiba had amazing Chromebook audio and I didn't expect to find the same quality without paying for it. But Lenovo's "speakers" are funny. I can't believe how bad they are. Not only do they sound very flat and dull, they are also barely audible at maximum volume. I even tried using the "Audio EQ” extension, which allows you to boost the preamp and boost the volume. Still, it really does sound like you've got your headphones plugged in and you're sitting on a desk at max volume. abominable! Wi-Fi - I have many devices at home that run on 5 GHz at 100+ mb/s. Everything is working well. But Lenovo. If you're 5 feet from the router, you're showing an "average" connection strength. This translated when trying to watch a video, and each new video had to "load" within a second before the quality dropped for a minute or two while the computer tried to catch up. The battery seemed to last after a day of "use". ". Basically trying to figure out if a setting was causing all the issues and poor quality. The keyboard was fine. The trackpad was fine. I ended up returning it and buying an Acer Chromebook 14. Those two devices shouldn't differ from others.Friend for $300.If Lenovo was a $150 Chromebook I could argue that for the price it at least works. But if they charge the same price as some other brands that are much higher end had to I'm leaving a review to warn others. As an engineer, I use a $2,500+ Lenovo laptop every day and I can't find anything bad to say about it. But this Chromebook sucks. Don't buy this. Find other options .
