Chose judging by the reviews on the Internet and because of the brand. I took it for a bootable system flash drive, now I don’t know if it will be of any use. My old Transcend J780 16Gb flash drive from 5 years ago shows 33Mb/s write and 170Mb/s read. Therefore, for those who choose the best, I recommend taking this particular one. Either flash drives began to be made differently, or it needs to be plugged into a USB3.1 port in order to see the declared speeds, I don’t know. But keep in mind, the write speed of random small blocks of the J790 will be better than the J780 - 1Mb / s versus 0.2 Mb / s. By the way, the photo of the packaging is different from the one shown in the picture, at my speed they are not indicated and the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface is indicated. PS. A later test showed a normal write speed of 35Mb / s on Windows 7. It seems that the price of a flash drive still plays a role, the more expensive, the better it really will be. I took this one for cheap, as I needed an inexpensive bootable USB flash drive, plus for transferring video.
