I was originally sent a defective microphone. No matter what I did or what device I plugged this mic into, there was absolutely no feedback, just static. This alone tells you that the microphone is defective and needs to be replaced. It took them 3 days to respond with troubleshooting instructions which I had already tried. The entire product comes in a case which is inside a zipped pocket (as you can see in the photo provided) so there really isn't anything to protect the mic. If it's broadcast, my mic was probably originally rendered as DOA. If you're shipping a sensitive product like a microphone, expect some level of protection, but not from Purple Panda! At this point I'm disappointed and honestly can't trust a company that doesn't have the level of quality assurance you would expect. If I were to buy a replacement mic, I'm not sure I'll be sure of its durability.
