I loved that Lyft was local to me! It saved me a lot of time and money! There is no way to be sure that the drivers are insured and that they are following the rules. I would not have used Lyft if I knew I would be put in a car with an unlicensed driver. My insurance company would not cover me because they said it was not safe.
