The design first struck me as something out of an IKEA kitchen display case, but by then I had used it several times. I was in love. My old Cuisinart was kind of high tech, but it was starting to falter. I think it was too technological. But this one only has a small switch and turns itself off a few minutes after the water has boiled. It's easy to clean. I just add some vinegar and water and let it cook. Leave until the water is safe to touch and gently rub. Limescale deposits are easily removed. And the water gets hot very quickly! I can drink tea or hot water with lemon in minutes. Definitely a good buy!
