Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great video for the price. A little uncomfortable after a few hours.

About a week before rafting I decided GoPro probably wasn't the best choice for action shooting. I ordered these glasses and they arrived on time as promised. There are plenty of camera sunglasses, at Revain and elsewhere, but few have met my needs for full waterproofing like this, including submersible sunglasses when I've been submerged in water. I really wasn't expecting much in terms of video quality at this price point. forgive me my mistake The video was of very good quality. In slow motion you could clearly see individual drops of water flying by as we hit the rapids. That doesn't match the video from my professional Panasonic cameras, but then again, I wouldn't take them with me in the flow. For what I wanted they were perfect. They even seem to squirt water off the lens when it gets wet. Attractions - You decide if it's good or bad. The camera has a fairly wide viewing angle. No zoom lens or viewfinder. Wherever you look, you write. It is what it is. If you're trying to get parts you should be pretty close. After wearing them on the river for about 6 hours they were uncomfortable. They are large and bulky and tend to to press against the sides of the head and the top of the ears. Again, this was a good compromise for the price and video quality. Then again I wore the camera all day instead of regular sunglasses. Maybe it's me. After recording for a while, they warmed up a bit. Maybe that's why the lens was water-free in about 20 seconds (or maybe it's treated with a Rain-X type coating). Battery life is relatively short, probably around an hour of recording. I used it sparingly, only when I needed to trade. After being in the river for about 2.5 hours we stopped for lunch and I hooked up the battery for about 30 minutes to give it an extra boost. I got about 1 1/2 hours of video, before the glasses were empty at the end of the ride. Perfect time. with Rain-X coating). Battery life is relatively short, probably around an hour of recording.
