Very disappointingly good for waffle maker

To be honest I don't like giving bad reviews but this time I have to, with less than the recommended waffle mix it didn't cook fully at all, not even an egg became Cooked Partially left soggy, very flat, crumbling around edges, edges very difficult to clean. Not sustainable. The light indicates the waffles are cooked BUT raw!
