I built my computer. But even now, not all manufacturers offer the convenience of front access card readers and FireWire or SATA ports. For me it was important to have Firewire on the front panel so as not to damage the hard drives when trying to move the computer just to connect/disconnect the cable. (I used to edit videos when I ran a nonprofit website); having to bend down to get to the back of the computer was so annoying! (Firewire connections are faster than USB / no need to install drivers when downloading videos from a DV cam) This product replaces my previous Silverstone FP34: what happened, my kid threw an exercise ball and the USB Stick hit, so the old FP34 was damaged. What I like and like most about the SilverStone FP35B compared to the FP34 is the convenience of the 6V and 12V input and cables to power other HD cases without bulky power supplies etc. Except mine didn't work properly since I didn't have it plugged in power directly from the PSU. Food, but from the 2nd FDD (Floppy) Molex. I need to power another Molex from a PSU I think. The product does work but when you select the "safely remove" option in Windows and then reinsert the same SD card it is not recognized but after a reboot it is not recognized and I attribute this to my OS (Vista Ultimate) or mine special configuration. I really like this product and it's easy to find warranty information and support: [.]. If you have a rebuttal, please post it, but only if it helps others spot/clear up installation errors. Remember to turn off the PC and use anti-static products and procedures!
