I bought these bags to store winter blankets. (Having moved to Louisiana from Pennsylvania, I don't actually need winter comforters! ;) ) This is the perfect size for king size comforters. I can pack a duvet or two large duvets into a storage bag. They look way better in the closet than boxes and I can see what's in the storage bags without opening them. Crates are definitely stronger, but they stack on top of each other once the blankets are inside. If you keep fragile items, you can buy something more permanent. These storage bags are just cube shaped plastic bags.
