The fan looks pretty decent but the LED backlight is just terrible. Although it technically has three hues, you'll have to switch between them by quickly pressing power on the remote to select the hue you want. And every time you turn on the light, it's a different shade (start cycling again). There's also no way to dim the light, but the LED is there. intensive. Although the description says this fan is reversible, I can't find a way to change the direction. Installation proved more difficult than it should have been due to screw placement and poor build quality. The installation guide is actually 8 pages of some of the most amazingly clumsy and illiterate English sentences. Seriously, the accompanying guide is really something else, and I hope Finxin gets some sort of accolade so her accomplishments don't go unnoticed. There is little documentation on the remote control or fan functions, leaving you on your own. We dismantled it, packed it and sent it back.
