Review on 🔌 Magewell USB Capture Plus - SDI 32050 by Miro Dadee

I'm a little sorry I didn't review this sooner. This is a great item and I highly recommend it! Due to COVID, all of my live events in 2020 have moved to virtual events, mostly taking place via Zoom. To accommodate this change, I needed a reliable, high-quality way to feed a 1080p HD-SDI signal from a broadcast camera or switcher into a virtual environment. This humble little box has done its job and shown exemplary results. Never had a problem with video and audio getting out of sync - even after hours of use. And as the marketing suggests, it's always been plug and play. The only caveat I'd like to give is that the box gets hot/heated. I tried to keep it on an open table with enough space for air to circulate. Can't say if it helped, but thanks to numerous events and dress/tech rehearsals it's never failed or failed.
