It broke on first use
Wow. I have never seen a simple tool fail so spectacularly after a single use. I pulled out the tape measure to start measuring and heard a click about 10 feet from the tape measure. And from that moment on, the tape will not be pulled back. I can pull it out further and it pulls back 10 feet but no further. I think the quill unrolled itself.
