Batteries don't last long

They were hung as window decorations. I had them for maybe 2 hours the first day and 1 the second day and the batteries started dying. Now only the eyes are glowing red... Very disappointed with this purchase as I now have to change the batteries so they can be left out for jokes or treats overnight.
