Not just for climbers!

When all the gyms were closed I was looking for a horizontal bar, the kind you can hang on a door frame. But they were all sold out at an inflated price, or both! I saw an ad for Portahang on one of my social networks. They are designed for indoor climbers to be able to switch holds of different styles. Although I'm not a mountaineer, I've seen the practicality of using them for bodyweight exercises instead of a bar. The simplicity of the hangers allows you to install them very quickly, just by hanging them on the door jamb! It's compact, which makes a difference in small living spaces where a standard muntin bar over a door might not be ideal. The grip on them definitely feels different than the straight bar, but they work just as well for pull-ups! , and continued to use them after the gyms reopened.
