Dear potential buyer of this USB-C multiport adapter, Hello. How are you today? I hope You are fine. I bought this for my mid 2017 mid 2017 gray Apple® MacBook Pro™ laptop. I tried all ports and even used the USB-C port (chain port or whatever you call it) both ways. Let's just say I charged my laptop through it and then plugged a USB-C peripheral into it. It works both ways. Ethernet supports full duplex gigabit, HDMI appears to support 4k but could go up to 1080p or so. The ports work The SD card slot works The only thing I couldn't test is the mini SD card slot as I don't have a card for it I assume it works The color is about the same as the laptop but not perfect. It's plastic but lightweight. It gets warm but not hot. However, this can be an indicator that it is burning energy. In theory, you could potentially link several of these together. FURNISHED! Wow! It's pretty cool. Since this is a new computer I don't want to install third party junk on it for several reasons. Sometimes there is malware, sometimes there is mes, drivers just suck, and sometimes there are no drivers for future operating systems. It just plugs in and works great. Again, I hope you are well.
