Review on TCI 616541 FAST GATE Shifter by Shawn Jimenez

I bought this as an inexpensive replacement for the Hurst and B&M variants. I've used both of these brands during my hot rodding days. Although both brands are still of high quality, they have become very overpriced in my opinion. TCI has been a long-standing torque converter and transmission parts brand that I have had good experiences with. In search of an alternative solution, I decided on this switch. I am satisfied with the quality, feel and design. The ratchet is strong and crisp, offers 3 or 4 speed options, and the design works well for any application. The lid is thick and not cheaply made and seems very solid so far. I definitely recommend it for the street or the race.
