I say fancy/cheating device because it will never live up to your expectations or those that all infomercials or infomercials deliver. It's good for a few uses, and even then it has its issues. No temperature control, easy cleaning doesn't last long, but ease of use is pretty high BUT only if you fill in half the recommended amount of food. This is a very small unit with very thin and cheap metal top and bottom cooking plates. At the same time they have a very thin non-stick coating. To me, this is a very short-lived device, designed to make consumers believe they are getting a quality, long-lasting device. A good use would be a very small (2 people) and rarely used indoor cooking facility.
