Good balloons. Rub confetti on someone's head to create static electricity, which causes the confetti to stick to the sides of the balloon instead of sitting on the ground. Mylar #1 holds helium forever, but latex balloons only hold helium for about 6 hours, so make sure you fill up the day of the party, not the day before.
