This is a really well made table/shelf for the money! I needed the exact spacing between the shelves and the exact overall height. Through experimentation I found that you can cut out some of the plastic legs to shorten them as needed (I used a miter box for straight cuts). Don't forget to cut 4 legs the same way. Then insert a 2" 1" OD PVC pipe to connect the remaining ends for all 4 legs. Use black tape around the cut if it's visible (I didn't have one with a clean, straight cut). You can shorten each of the legs as needed. FYI, you can also just use the top and 1 shelf (instead of 2 shelves) if you want.
