Review on 🔋 Solar Controller for Battery Tender - 5-45W Automatic by Hassan Tomlinson

I have three of these now and will probably buy a few more. For the money they seem to work great. I've had one for a few years and the others are newer so I guess I haven't used them long enough to know whether or not they damage the batteries, but they keep the batteries fully charged and I haven't seen any signs of overcharging still. The biggest problem with this is that you have to size the solar panel accordingly. I have an old plow that is having some problems so the battery is constantly draining. I use a 40 amp panel with this controller and it keeps the battery charged all summer long while the truck is idling. Before using it, the battery died within a few weeks and I bought new batteries every year. Ever since I've been using this controller, I've been running on the same battery. I also have controllers on my boat and jet ski, 20 and 5 amp panels respectively and both are excellent for this purpose. For the money this controller works as advertised for me.
