We have had another set of these containers for years and they have gone through the bell. This set is exactly the same as the other, except some of the lids require a little more force to close than usual. I was very disappointed at first because we give them to our 4 year old to drink and the reason is that most other brands of water bottles have caps that are too difficult for little hands to open and close and I can't tell Check out how many times he thought the lid was closed only to squirt EVERYWHERE. Also, you cannot open and close water bottles for your child while driving. So we showed him that he had to press very hard on these new ones to close them and after a few tries he did. So, voila, no more problems. Also, after about a month of use, it's not that hard to close one of them. About the same as the old ones we had. Also, we have NEVER had any of these leaks. There are no fiddly rubber seals in the lid (things suck. They get moldy and slide out, and then you spill the whole sofa and carpet), and there are only two components that need washing (bonus!). Lose and keep track of 3-4 additional items to the water bottle. I recommend them to everyone.
