This PSU is amazing. I only use about 350w from this beast, but it would be nice if I ever upgraded to a second graphics card. The cables are very well made, just long enough and labeled to avoid plugging them into the wrong pin. I love that the PCI Express cables are red (even though they're too long in my medium tower case), the 10-year warranty is amazing, and the EVGA support is top-notch. I went platinum rather than G2 as I don't plan on replacing this villain anytime soon and using all the Japanese capacitors just sounds cool. I also like the fan eco mode. If all the Japanese capacitors, the Eco mode and the Platinum rating don't matter much, go for the G2. It's also an amazing power supply, I'm told. Note that this PSU is quite long (20cm or 7.87 inches) and I had to remove the rubber grommet from the case of my Corsair Carbide 300R to access the cables. screwed correctly to the back of the housing. I love camping and I wholeheartedly recommend this powerhouse. I'm very glad I returned my Thermaltake 1200w ToughPower Grand.
