I bought this because it connects to my phone to take pictures and is easy to use. I didn't have enough time to know how the optics would hold up, but it works as advertised and is easy to use. The included tripod is a joke because it's very small - if you want to use it with a tripod, you'll need to invest in something much more serious than what the vendor offers. However, it's worth the price and the tripod size is a bit of an issue. I am happy with it and I have no problem recommending it to any average user.
