These mats have smooth dangerous beveled edges that completely destroy the comfort and convenience of standing. I slip almost every time I step on or step off one of the two I bought for the kitchen. I'm afraid of slipping while carrying boiling water or a knife. The depreciation factor is not worth the risk! The manufacturer has to go back to the drawing board of this design. I hate leaving negative reviews but I don't want anyone to get hurt.
