I was surprised by the quality for the price.
I think it will definitely be enough for 2-3 years, and there, of course, something new will be released. The camera, as you know, is action and is not suitable for filming at night, you should not count on it, but it can shoot some pictures with shutter speed in nightlapse mode. I am satisfied with the purchase, you can cut different vidos. Of the mandatory additional purchases, it is desirable: a good tripod, several batteries and a box.
Pros
- The camera is good overall. 1. The quality of the picture in jpg format has become more pleasant and better, there is the possibility of shooting in raw, which can later be processed in lightroom. 2. Stabilization at a decent level (albeit digital), even if it cuts off part of the picture, it is not noticeable if you set the correct shooting angle knowing these features in advance. 3. The possibility of good shooting in FullHD 240 fps, but with a tripod, because. no stabilization. 4. In one of the latest firmware, hypersmooth was added at 4k at 60 fps, earlier at the time of purchase it was only 30.
Cons
- The battery drains quickly in ambient conditions below 5 degrees Celsius. At sub-zero temperatures, battery consumption is even stronger, and long-term use in such an environment is undesirable. It is advisable to buy then 2-3 pieces in stock. To transfer photos / videos to a computer, you need Windows 10, at least. I tried to download a program for the seven - the installer did not start, notifying me of an outdated system and lack of support. You can try this procedure through the emulator. I'm still doing it the old fashioned way - I remove the USB flash drive (Sandisk Ultra 128 Gb A1 MicroSD XC1) and insert it through the adapter into the computer, then I dump it through the total into the desired directory. It is difficult to remove the flash drive from the camera with your fingers, it is better to use small tweezers in this matter, it helps a lot. Despite the fact that the camera is positioned as waterproof to a shallow depth of fresh water (not sea water - otherwise the kirdyk will come to it faster and consider 35k flew into the pipe) it's a little frustrating that the manufacturers did not add a waterproof box to the package, as it was before when I Bought a GoPro 4 Silver. The factory box is very good in quality than its Chinese counterparts and has served for a very long time, including in sea water - I live in the south, in Lazarevka, and in the summer I often shoot on the surface and under water.

I took it as the first action camera for amateur shooting on trips. It proved to be excellent when shooting in the light with the sun, with noisy wind and bad weather. I recommend.
