I bought a 1943 Lincoln Steel Penny for my husband and was both impressed and disappointed with the product. The gold-tone cord bezel adds a sophisticated touch to the cufflinks, while the steel coin adds a unique touch. However, I was disappointed to learn that the steel penny had only been minted for a year and that the value on the certificate of authenticity seemed a bit high to me. Also, the cufflinks were a little heavier than I expected, making them a bit uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Overall, I would recommend these cufflinks for the unique style they offer, but buyers caution against researching the true value of a steel cent and considering the weight of the cufflinks before purchasing.
