Review on HD Link HL17 Sewell HDMI Cat5E by Dick Grayson

Interesting concept. Poorly implemented. They appear to be very unreliable and are easily damaged with normal use. Tested for two days and they worked until I plugged in the included IR receiver. At that point, they stopped broadcasting the video. Tech support seems to expect everyone to buy a couple of devices to test so you can figure out which end is dying. Thought my shaggy carpet, which I don't have, might be the cause. Also said possibly faulty cables - that's not true either as they connect directly to each other with a 20ft cable and I've tried a 6ft cable as well. Send back.
