Fortunately, Apple has made it easy to upgrade the memory in the new iMacs. I installed them in my new 27" iMac from 2019. The computer recognized them straight away. Very easy. I haven't tested the computer for workflow acceleration when editing, but I think with 24GB of RAM I shouldn't have any problems In my opinion, I don't really need to upgrade to that much RAM to make a new computer fast, but with a lot of photography-related software, systems can get bogged down pretty quickly, and the fact that the image files are now quite large requires a lot more RAM to handle large files.I have always loved G.Skill products and will continue to buy them without fear.Great product at a great price.
