Review on Hoover 38528 040 Belt Pack 2 by Karen Johnson

I have never seen any information about the size of this belt. And reviews have been mixed. Someone said it's too small, someone just right. So I took a chance and ordered it to see for myself. Actually too small. Here's what I can tell you: This belt is 11.75 inches long. My existing belt is 15.5 inches long. When they say this part replaces 38528-027 they are about 4 inches different. Because some people say it worked for them? There must clearly be a discrepancy somewhere. Measure your belt. In the meantime, I will look for a replacement based on the LENGTH, not the part number.
