Asking someone to make a Fitbit Charge 2 strap that lasts is probably too much to ask. My original Fitbit rubber strap lasted less than a year before it broke in one of the buckle holes. This bayite leather strap lasted just over a year. It failed in two different places. The mechanism that attaches the strap to the Fitbit has plastic built into the strap where the metal clip sits. One of the plastic inserts fell apart and fell off, leaving the strap unattached to the Fitbit's head. The leather also tore at several buckle holes and would have fallen apart over the next month or so if the plastic piece hadn't broken first. I've never submerged this strap in water, so I suspect the leather was torn from exposure to sweat. To be honest, I'm not even entirely sure if it's real leather. Sounds pretty bad right? Well, these things are only about $10 and they look and feel pretty good when new. If you don't mind changing it once a year, then it's still a decent option. I'll buy something more permanent to replace this, but it will likely cost more if it even exists.
