Works as intended! for transformers

Works perfectly with the Ring Original video intercom. Before use, the battery only lasted a few days (after several years of use). No problems since installation. Sometimes the wired connection will switch to battery at 93% charge, but this is normal as the device will use more power than it would on a constant charge and then revert back to a wired connection when fully charged. The plug (transformer) is large for an outdoor outlet with a cover, so buy an inexpensive large outdoor outlet cover. The entire installation took about 15 minutes including replacing the outlet cover. Charge your doorbell before reinstalling it with a wired connection! Works great for me.
