The older dog has been eating this for years and is fine.
A happy, healthy giant dog eats this food well. Due to a previous illness where he practically refused to eat, I started adding some wet food to Eukanuba. Canned food is no longer needed to get him to eat now that he's not sick, but he really likes the combo so I still do it and he gets 3 cups of Eukanuba mixed with 1/2 can of wet food. twice a day and everything is fine.
