What a disappointment! These shelves are cute, but that's about it. First, I didn't realize that buying it meant I was buying a complete work in progress. I have no issues with flat mounting, but these shelves have no indication of where you should attach the metal to the wood (see image). In addition, the wood is very rough and untreated! I was literally afraid of splinters. That's pretty unacceptable to me. I really love working with raw wood but this is ridiculous. It looks like it's about to end. Don't waste your money as you have to buy a wood finisher and brushes and end up running through the shelves trying to guess where to drill the pieces together.
