Snap mechanism for holding the phone quickly and securely. Might not feel super strong, kinda light. But after using it for a day or two on the go, I have complete confidence in the handle mechanism. It's a bit noisy and makes rattling noises when driving. However, I do complain about how it attaches to the bike itself. It uses a plastic twist to tighten the PLASTIC strap. As a result, the clamp spins freely before becoming tight enough to hold tight. If you tighten it a little, it will hold your phone and look nice. But at the first bump or bump, the mount tilts down so the phone is upside down, pointing towards the ground. So you try to tighten the clamp and instead it twists back and loosens. Back to top 1. Will your phone drop during your trip? Absolutely not. Will you be able to use, touch or see your phone after the slightest bump on the road? Absolutely not. No, I do not recommend this phone mount.
