So I've had several different meat thermometers in my life and I think I've found one that works perfectly and easily for our kitchen. We cook a lot of meat while living in smokehouses and I can't tell you how much it helped. With other thermometers I have used it seems very difficult to read the small display and even get correct readings from them. So it seems to be there every time. There are magnets on the back so you can attach it to any metal surface. Also came with its own batteries! It is very easy to use, just insert the thermometer into the meat and wait for the reading. I like it. It has made my cooking so much easier to know when it's done and at the right temperature.
