Good, but not "lean ".
I liked it even though the pants weren't "thin". I actually had to have them repaired and they were still a bit loose for my taste. my son is small He's 5 years old, about 42 inches tall and weighs 39 pounds so I bought him a 4T as suggested. Plus I loved it and my son wore it comfortably for hours. He received many compliments.
