I went out and purchased a 256 GB card. As a direct consequence of this, eighty percent of the data that is written to it "crashes." For instance, out of twenty movies that I record, just a few of them play normally, while the majority of the others do not. The formatting was of no assistance. In the interest of the experiment, I also recorded from a variety of devices, including the phone, two separate laptops, and both of my desktop computers. The outcome is the same either way. The vast majority of the information that was recorded is not played back.
