LOVE this straightener. Just like the ones from the salon center. However, they are actually about $2-5 cheaper. Excellent very hot. I'm a beautician so I see all the salons, specialty stores and some of the biggest trade shows that sell them. That's the real deal and I can really support it. It's legal. Does the job, super hot and curls my hair! I say this because my hair needs a lot of heat, it's curly, wavy, sooooo frizzy and so hard to manage. So this curling iron is perfect for this job. I also love how the tip twists when you curl and the length of the top barrette that pinches the hair is halfway through, but the length makes up for the large amount of hair that can be grabbed. My hair has grown since the boys and definitely went past the back of my bra strap. Worth buying. And I like the black carpet that allows you to put the iron on the counter.
