The fit and feel of the fabric are great. The belly control wasn't as strong as I wanted but I loved the arms. But the sccop neck is really a low scoop in both front and back and I was uncomfortable with it- made my chest itchy. A tighter belly and higher neck would have made this true shapewear- this one is more like just a tight top to wear as a baselayer if you don't mind quite a bit of frontal exposure.
