I bought this toy for my grandson who is almost a year old. I didn't notice the age recommendation so that was my fault so I have to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't put small parts in his mouth but it's worth it. He LOVES this toy and I have a lot of fun playing with it. The little woodpecker is magnetic and you use it to pull the magnetic worms out of the tip. I also like different, non-standard forms of sorting. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a small child.
