Just purchased a board so I wanted to use the oil and cream to get the board off to a good start. Since it is so expensive I wasn't about to have all the product soak up on a rag or paper towel. I washed my hands, dried them and commenced rubbing the oil on the board. Let that dry for 24 hours then wipe off the excess and apply the cream for another round of 24 hours. The oil and cream bring out the most beautiful hues and variation of grains in the wood. It's more than a cutting board, it's a piece of art. I am so happy, I finally own a Boo's.
