Been using ChlorMaker chlorine generator for about 4 years. My first electrode only lasted a year. The second electrode had some improvements regarding the epoxy used to seal up the connections. This electrode lasted from August 1017 till Nov 2020 (3 years). I have a 400 gallon spa and run at power level 7 due to heavy use of the spa.This time around instead of just replacing the electrode I opted to purchase the entire unit so I have some spare parts. This new electrode looks to be improved over previous. Hope to get more use out of it. My only CON is the cost of the replacement electrode. Bottom line. convenience and cost savings over how we maintained water chemistry priors to the ChlorMaker.
