Review on Lewis N Clark Leather Bi-Fold Wallet by Brandon Carr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rest assured, it works well, but it's also a simple, basic, and well-made wallet.

Beautifully made, perfect size, comfortable and functional wallet. Now it looks like a crazy special RFID blocking wallet. Clean cut, slightly modern (white stitching on black leather), doesn't look special or extraordinary in any way. When I put an RFID card (for DC Metro) in my wallet, I can't read it from either side. TO MY SURPRISE THE RFID READER (TWO DIFFERENT PHONE I CHECKED THIS WITH) CANNOT READ THE CARD WHEN THE CARD IS IN THE CASE AND I OPEN THE WALLET WHEN THE PHONE READER IS PHYSICALLY ATTACHED TO THE CASE AND THE SHELTER-STICK IS CONNECTED . THE MAP IS OPEN. The only potential downside to this is that I can no longer hold my wallet up to the reader to board the subway. Now I have to remove the card for it to work. But this is absolute proof that it works safely and definitely. Also tried with two other RFID chips. The chip in the subway card and one of my other chips/tags are from NXP and the third is from a different brand. None of them could be read through the wallet.

Pros
  • Multiple card slots make it easy to organize and store credit and debit cards, membership cards and ID cards.
Cons
  • The dual design may not suit those who prefer a triple wallet.
