I used to see CPU temperatures around 95C (200F) when playing games with Turbo Boost enabled for my Intel i7. That's why I bought this product as I don't want my laptop to keep running in the danger zone. The product helps a lot in two ways: 1. When I drive at full speed with Turbo Boost on, the temperature stabilizes at 85-90 (185-194F). 2. When I forcibly disable Turbo Boost, the laptop's built-in fan has to run at almost 6000 rpm for the temperature to stabilize at around 60-70, while using Olmaster underneath I got the built-in fan running at a speed of 100 Hz can bring 3600 rpm, and the temperature stabilizes around 60-70. Since the maximum noise level of the Olmaster is much better than that of the built-in fan, it reduces the overall noise level while cooling my laptop.
