This review is written after less than 18 months of use. I'll be 67 soon and my router has never been disconnected. This router decided to stop connecting to the internet while streaming. I had to reboot many times while using it. If the ISP came and rewired the connections because they wouldn't connect. The network configuration has been saved, but it does not connect to the Internet or to its own satellite (repeater) that comes with the kit. Tech support won't help unless I pay them $49.99. They sent me a link that has nothing to do with the problem. My ISP, EPBWIFI, known as GigCity for the fastest internet in the US, does not control or restrict devices. It was a hardware problem in the router. NEVER recommend this product or company to anyone. I've used many Netgear products with no problems, but this and their terrible customer service make me confident that I won't be using ORBI again. Stay away. Too expensive for this kind of problem with rude customer service. I'm wondering how much commission does a service technician get for their $49.99 support cost? You also can't find the exact time you have for the warranty on the website or in the documentation. 90 days for tech support, but nowhere can you find a warranty period (nor did support tell me) for the actual hardware. Buyer warning! This should be the first example of a bad product if you don't specify a warranty period.
