The design is very pretty with the different colors fading in and out. When considering this item, be conscious that it is very fragile.While putting it away after a hand wash, the stem (stir-stick) broke. This was not a big deal, however this experience makes me less likely to use it from fear of completely destroying it. When having nice things, I want to use them at a gathering to share a cup of Tea, if I can not use it for that. I hardly see the point. This, and this alone is the reason for 3 stars.
